Hello again Riders, sorry we’re a little late; we finally had to give up and replace the old computer. This obviously took longer than planned, which could probably be attributed to my exceeding prowess in moving all our files (NOT). At any rate this new computer is bad a_ _, almost as fast as my bike.
We had a pretty short meeting this month but a great turnout. We had several guests from the Malvados and were invited to a birthday party on the 19th at the Road Kill Lounge in Jones (don’t remember the time).
For those interested the Super Bowl party will be at Terry & Michelle’s house this year on February 3rd kickoff is at 5:18 PM Oklahoma time. We are planning to do the crab thing again and the cost is $20.00 per person. If you plan to attend please call Skip at 821-1035 or Lorry at 209-0315
The Special Olympics activities will kick off on Saturday March 8, 2008 at 11:00 in Mineral Wells Park. Please join in and participate in this very special cause. As everyone knows this annual event is always a good time
and gives all involved a good feeling about our group and the community. If there are any questions please join us at the next meeting and we’ll try to answer them for you.
As a reminder to everyone our monthly meetings are being held at The Rock. We always have a good time and some great BS sessions after the meeting, as most of us in the group are real good at BS. Please show up and chip (pun intended) in. If you haven’t been to a meeting in a while show up and give us a welcome surprise. I’ll take this opportunity (since I’m convinced I have gained everybody’s undivided attention with my wit and wisdom of the written word) to tell you that every Thursday is Bike Night at The Rock. And speaking of The Rock; if you haven’t been in a while you should come on out, there have been some very positive changes to the place and they really treat us good (Thanks Shelly).

Congratulations to everyone involved in the Thanksgiving scavenger hunt. We raised $460.00. We believe that we will be able to feed several families. Food delivery will be on 11/17/2007 at 12:00 noon at Nick’s. Nick’s is located on the corner of Oklahoma and Drexel.
There will be a club party after delivery of the food.
Big thanks goes out to all that helped out with the haunted house. $1,100.00 was raised for the Guthrie shop with a cop. Damon sure appreciated all the help. I heard that there were some scary characters roaming around, found out later they weren’t even wearing a costume.
On Saturday, November 10th help is needed to move out of the Shop and move items to Nick’s place on Oklahoma and Drexel. We will meet around 10:00 a.m.
Saturday November 24th is the lighted Christmas Parade. We will decorate our bikes and throw out candy for the kids. Meet at Nick’s at 5:30 p.m.
